It's 9:15pm and we're happily tucked into our tent. We were worried when we woke up to a rain storm this morning. But our rain gear served us well, and after an hour of riding and a delicious hot chocolate, the rain cleared. We got off the main highway for a more interesting (and direct) one lane road. Saw some small mountains, plenty of cows and horses, and drove past salt flats (we'll stop at bigger ones in a few days). Now we're in Monteros, which is the jumping off point for most of what we came here to see. We're excited.
